I'm Lindsey and I'm so happy you're here. At Revel Rides, it's all about curating extraordinary day trips by bike! From Paris we can explore the forests which lead us to the golden gates of the Palace of Versailles. Or, join me for an adventure high in the French Alps.
I grew up in Colorado, USA, where outdoor sports and an active lifestyle were just the norm! I relocated to Paris, France in 2011 and have called Paris home ever since. City life doesn't have to be stagnant: there's always a way to keep active, whether running along the banks of the Seine, or my personal favorite: cycling into the vast nature and forests that surround the city!
I am a mother to a sweet, beautiful and courageous daughter. Together, we love making art, dancing, rollerblading, and playing frisbee with our dog Charlie.
I am a professional photographer by trade and founded Pictours Paris Photography when I relocated to Paris in 2011.
I love taco nights, homemade soup, dancing in my living room, picnics, and exploring by bike, foot, snowboard, or paddleboard in the Alps.
I have a loving British partner (he's one of our guides too!) and together we share a passion for cycling and the outdoors.
Cycling has helped me navigate and heal through some of my most difficult times in life.
It's on my bike I feel the most happy and free.

Behind the name Revel
In my life, I've always dared to be a bit different and do things my own way. A bit of a non-conformist you might say, but in the best way! I strive to have fun and make the most out of each day. And I have always had an ardor for the outdoors.
When I got my first gravel bike - the bright purple beauty you see throughout this site - I aptly named her Rebel! She and I have had so many exciting adventures together.
Revel came next and she lives in the Alps, awaiting my visits so we can explore the mountains. She is a beautiful Propain gravel bike: black matte and sleek. So I named her Revel. Revel because it's when I'm in the mountains that I feel most free and most appreciative of life, health, love and adventure.
So voila, a bit of history for you!
